Introduction

Is there anyone among us who does not need a role model in their life journey?

Of course, we all need one—but be careful! Choosing the right role model is extremely important.

Through reflection and research, it becomes clear that there are no better role models than the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to learn from.

However, this does not mean attributing any form of infallibility to them; every child of Adam makes mistakes, and everyone’s words may be accepted or rejected—except for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

If we ask who a Companion is, we find that it is any Muslim who met the Prophet (peace be upon him) and interacted with him directly, even if only for a short time.

They are truly the stars whose stories deserve to be followed, to inspire us and illuminate our path.

So let us learn together from their stories in a simple and accessible way, through the series *Shining Stars*.
